Claims and Recoveries Bureau Limited was founded in 1989. From the date of our incorporation we have been part of the large and successful international Van Ameyde Group with offices throughout thirty eight countries worldwide, employing some 620 professional staff.
Claims & Recoveries Bureau Limited operates independently within the group, dealing with matters in the unique field of cargo claims and third party liabilities relating to marine claims settling, recoveries and defence claims. In addition to routine claims matters, each year we deal with incidents ranging from major casualties such as ship fires, air crashes, truck hi-jacking and road traffic accidents to cargo deterioration, physical damage and thefts.
We regularly deal with claims relating to deterioration of fresh produce, temperature abuse relating to refrigeration and reefer cargoes, sea water damage to steel products and bulk cargoes as well as routine attritional claims for loss, damage and theft.
